Worldwide Solidarity with Victims of Extremism

The so-called Islamic State has claimed victims in several countries this week. Attacks in Iraq, Lebanon and Paris have killed a total of at least 188 people and wounded at least 491.

Beirut: The worst terror attack in years hit Beirut, Lebanon on Thursday, November 12, killing at least 43 people and leaving 250 injured in a double suicide bombing.

Baghdad: Early Friday morning, November 13 an Islamic State militant blew himself up at the funeral of a pro-government Shi’ite fighter in Baghdad, killing at least 18 people and wounding 41.

Paris: Attacks in the French capital Friday evening have killed 127, while about 200 are believed to have been wounded, 99 seriously.

Citizens around the world show solidarity with victims of extremist violence on social media and in the streets.
