It’s almost Halloween and once again, some white people dressed up in blackface.
So far there are 2 contestants in the most racist costume contest for Halloween 2015. Heath Morrow, elementary school teacher from Alabama who wore Kanye West blackface and Florida high school student, @Emmajohns129 who dressed as Nicki Minaj, also wearing blackface.
Contestant number 1 – Heath Morrow/Kanye West
A photo of Chestnut Grove Elementary teacher Heath Morrow dressed as Kanye with his wife Shannon dressed as Kim Kardashian went viral on Facebook before it was deleted.
Decatur City Schools Superintendent Ed Nichols told the Decatur Daily no action will be taken against the teacher as a school district and said Morrow “feels very bad.”

Morrow apologized on Monday and said his intentions “were not malicious or directed toward any certain group of people.” Morrow’s wife, Shannon wrote in a message to the NY Daily News:
“There was no malicious intent in this costume. It’s for HALLOWEEN, the one time a year it is okay. Some of my husband’s best friends are black,” she continued. “There was no racial intent whatsoever.”
No Shannon. Just no.

@Emmajohns129 deleted her account but not before the internet could locate and contact her high school, the college she’s applying to next year and dig up a few racist tweets from 2013.

We are not sure why planning a Halloween costume that is not racist is so confusing for some white people.
When it comes white people using #BlackFace for Halloween costumes or just in general…
