Israeli Police kill 2 In West Bank Clashes, as Gaza is Under Attack



Protests have grown to tens of thousands in West Bank as Israeli attacks against Gaza grow worse. Protestors say Israeli police apparently used live ammo during clashes with at checkpoint in Qalandiya, between Jerusalem and Ramallah. Two Palestinians were killed in the fights. Some 100 were injured. Earlier, in Gaza, Israeli army shelled a UN school in Beit Hanoun, killing 16 people and injuring 200. Palestinians took shelter in this school, fleeing Israeli army’s airstrikes. Officials with UNRWA said they tried in vain to negotiate the safe eviction of their personnel and civilians.

Clashes errupted in Nablus, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, as number of protestors grows. Flags of Hamas were carried by some. photos via
