Activists have occupied a unused building owned by armament producer Thyssen Krupp, and announced they want to turn it into a space for political uncertainty, unconditional love and critique of ideology and art. In this statement, they explain their reasons.

Riot cops arrived and police deployed a helicopter. Cops arrested 3 squatters and let two go, and then tried to evict them – only to end up asking them to leave voluntarily because the roof was wet from the rain. Squatters held a press conference where they explained their actions. 9 activists remained in the building over night. They say the armament producer plans to turn the building in an art project, but they oppose gentrification and plead for urbanization instead, meaning spaces for human needs, not profits.

First cops who were called by security seemed a bit confused.
